Day 56 brought the bone marrow aspiration and CT scan.
Terry took some Ativan before the aspiration, but opted out of the other sedation that made him throw up during the last aspiration. It was nice to have just one side done and no bone biopsy needed. Things went well.
The contrast he had to drink for the scan was different than usual. They have changed things a bit and it was a little easier to drink than the other they used to have, though it was still kinda nasty.
We took the shuttle home and had some soup to help warm us up. It was a very long morning and a late lunch, but Terry is resting and doing well.

Hope you are able to have a good nights rest. Long days are exhausting even in the best of health. Thanks for sending the pictures of all boats. It looks like it would make a great puzzle. We pray the information from the aspiration will be just what the Doctor ordered. Love you both and your precious family. ALways, Sherri and family

Good Thursday morning....so glad to learn the news of yesterday and that it went well. I agree with Sherri that the pic of the boats would make a great puzzle. It is so cold and windy here today and guess what, we had soup last night for dinner. I have a vision appointment this morning so I better get ready for it. Take good care and have a wonderful Father's Day, Terry. I hope it will be a good day for you. I love you both, Ellen

Hi Terry & Elaine!
So glad the aspiration went well. It sounds pretty painful... we have moved and finally have internet and your blog was the first I wanted to catch back up on. I had heard you made it to Chase's graduation then seeing the pictures brought tears to my eyes. What a special time for your family.

On a sidenote, Apria was our home health supplies company as well and there is one in Tri-Cities (right by JoAnn's Fabrics). They're great about home delivery and getting supplies to you. We've been happy with them.

Our best to you and keeping you in our prayers!
Bryan, Katie, Jace, Caden & Maddie

So glad the aspiration is over, it's a nice procedure to have behind you. Jackson's next chemo is July 7th so let us bring you something if we can.
