Today was a stay at home/apartment day. Terry was able to rest and even sleep some. He has been doing a lot of reading too. The seminary students gave him a book - Volume One of The Mortal Mosiah. It's been a great read, and he has enjoyed it. He likes to read the first few pages where the kids each signed it and will continue to refer to it for a long time. If any of his students are reading this - THANK YOU!

Along with the daily routine of meds and IV fluids we also changed his bandage today. It was a first time for me to do it, and it went well.

I continued with scrapbooking and even felt comfortable to do some exercises today. I haven't done that for a few days because it just seemed too overwhelming with everything else going on, so it felt good to get back to that.

I am so grateful things seem to be going well. Elaine, you are one in a million-thanks for taking such good care of Terry. You are both blessed to have each other. We had a great quick trip to Provo for Patricia's graduation. Her parents were there so we were glad to get to know them better. Love to both of you...Shawna

Sounds like an "almost perfect day", considering. Saw three of your boys today, they seem to be thriving quite well!

Scrap booking is something I don't get done along with a lot of other things. Shall I just say again that I am still amazed at ALL you get done. I am glad you have that to do there and am also glad for you and the exercise. Lately I have been having such a hard time because of my right knee and I feel so sloppy it is terrible, so I am just going to have to push through the pain and get it done more consistently. Makes me mad to feel like this when I was feeling so much better. I sure didn't realize it could take a tendon so darn long to heal, but this is nothing compared to what is happening there. I am so grateful that you have each other. You work together like a well greased piece of machinery (for the lack of a better comparison) and it is so impressive to behold. I send loves and hugs your way and will be thinking of you again today as I go to the temple. Keep up the good work...Love, Ellen
