Tuesday Doctor Visit

Today we saw Dr. Barber, and again I must say ... We really like this doctor!  He is doing everything he can to help improve Terrys health in any way possible.  It feels good!  We think this doctor is a blessing in our lives at this point and time.

Terry is dehydrated and has several crummy symptoms due to that, and the lab work proves it too, so doctor prescribed some hydration that we will begin daily until further notice.  This is a familiar thing to us and something somewhat easy to do.  He stopped another IV med, so we are down to one of the three that were started after leaving the hospital.

He ordered a chest X-ray because of the chest pain that is worsening, so we did that when we got back to the clinic, but we do not have results yet, but we are confident that the doctor will make any changes and additions that are beneficial for Terry and let us know.

We went back to the clinic for 2 units of red blood and 1 bag of platelets, and 1liter of hydration (and for that xray).  We got done around 6:30pm and headed home.

These days are a bit hectic since we have to go to two different clinics for these visits, which requires getting Terry in and out of the car, in and out of a wheelchair so many times, and all in the cold weather.  He also has to get in and out of a bed at least a couple times too.  It's a long day for him and he is usually feeling the effects of such a day the next day as well.

It's a good thing that these visits are beneficial or they wouldn't be worth it.

Here is a fun thing that Sister Oscarson pinned -

Nativity

It looks like a great find - there are other fun illustrations from that sight too - Severine Aubry (but you won't be reading English there :)

Happy December and Merry Christmas!
