No clinic visit, but we did go to the clinic to pick up prescriptions and to check out a sidewalk sale in front of the SCCA building. The gift shop was selling some of their overstock and/or unsold items. Not too much to ooh and aah over, but I guess we have now "been there and done that!"
Terry is supposed to exercise or walk for 15 minutes, three times a day. So because the weather was good today we walked to the clinic and back, which at this rate does take us 15 minutes each way. We also walked a few blocks before dinner. That walk took us longer than we thought, about 35 minutes. Yeah us!
On days when it is raining he wanders the halls and stairs of the apartment complex, pump in hand. He is feeling okay, but not his best. I can't describe how he feels, and he doesn't really complain, so I'll just say that he feels icky. He has been loosing quite a bit of hair the last few days. We keep thinking he won't have any left, but he still looks great. He does have a lot of hair so it's not too noticeable to others who don't know. We do wonder when it's going to stop.
I've been working online a bit making a guest book for Skyler and Lisa. It's a fun project to spend time on.
We've been doing some word search puzzles and learned something today. Did you know that the word repaid spelled backwards is diaper? Nothing profound, but kinda funny.
All in all it's been a good day. We hope your day has been a good one too!

Speaking of hair, we had a presidency meeting last night and one person had a haircut that she thought was too short. She asked if we ever cried about haircuts. Debra said not since she lost all of her's at once, she was just glad to have it grow in at all. Perspective really changes depending on our challenges. Keep up the good fight. Sorry about the ickys. Hopefully dad's, "this too shall pass", will be a reality soon. Lots of love to you both.
Tyler and Dallin both have thinning hair. Hair is over rated and it will all be restored when it is supposed to be. The icky feelings are said to be "normal" so maybe it is a good thing if they just don't last too long. We are glad the weather allowed you to be out today and take the walk. Dallin and I walked about 8 houses today. His last physical therapy session left a bit of a sour taste in his mouth. I think the exercise ball was under inflated and they had him do some interesting things on it that hurt a little. He was able to be the recorder for our 30 youth who did baptisms for the dead yesterday. We are thankful he is doing as well as he is though and find miracles in the journey often. Take good care and know we love you both and your sweet family too.
Always, Sherri
terry and elaine,
I just wanted to report that despite the fact you are not here, they continue to serve remarkably well. Mr. Nielsen's funeral is on saturday and this evening your boys showed up to help set up chairs (and weed the flower beds in the dark). Your legacy lives on and i am constantly impressed with their love and service to others.
I will interview Anthony on Saturday and arrange to make sure he can receive the a.p. as soon as possible.
Please know we love you and think about you often.

It seems to be a "hairy" discussion day so I will add my 2 cents worth. Mine has been thinning for years and there is scalp where I suppose there always was, but I just never saw it. Yet, I do have hair and fairly good health so I'll try not to complain. I got it cut yesterday and it is a very summer cut...short...but it will grow. It is wonderful that the weather is good so you can be outside for your walking. Know that we are sending good thoughts and vibes your way. Lots of love, Ellen
